“For Bracco, sustainability is an integral part of our mission and our daily operations,” said Maurizio Zanetti, Logistics Manager – Bracco SpA. “With highly sensitive products that require no temperature deviation, it was essential to deploy a solution that maintained the highest degree of quality while simultaneously minimizing our carbon footprint; this “first” is quite an impressive feat of which we are very proud. “BDP is honored to partner with Bracco on this initiative which highlights the critical importance of more environmentally friendly modes of transport,” said Gerry Fama, Vice President Sales – Europe, BDP International. “With new market dynamics and the expanded capabilities of PSA’s global network of rail and inland terminals, the use of rail services will be an arena for continued growth in reducing CO2 emissions and accelerating the supply chain. .”

Sprawling over 206 acres of jungle and mangroves and conveniently located on the shores of the Riviera Maya, Grand Velas Riviera Maya is an ideal choice for travelers visiting Mexico.

The resort has 539 suites, many of which have recently been renovated, and the property caters to all types of travelers. Whether it’s a couple celebrating a honeymoon or a family with children of all ages, the hotel has amenities and activities to suit every type of visitor.

THE ADVERTISEMENT

Starting with the smallest of guests, Grand Velas Riviera Maya caters to babies with its baby concierge service, which includes cribs, baby food, bottles, toys, and pacifiers, among other necessities. . All parents need to bring is the baby, and the resort takes care of the rest!

trendy now

The hotel also has a creatively designed kids’ club and teens’ club, where the youngest can occupy their time doing arts and crafts, playing sports or showing their skills through karaoke. Some rooms also come with bunk beds, even making bedtime fun on vacation.

The resort is laid out in three sections, Sen Class, Ambassador Class and Grand Class. The Sen area offers an entry price and is ideal for vacationers looking for the most affordable option. This section is almost another station on its own. The zen atmosphere, the lush vegetation and the beautiful water fountains give the impression of being in Bali or Thailand.

The Ambassador section is ideal for families — here guests will find two-bedroom family suites and are located next to a large pool. Grad class is a go-to option for couples looking for a romantic, laid-back experience.

An important aspect to note is that everyone is treated like the VIP guest that they are. There are no bracelets or categories that guests fall into.

“For us, everyone is a VIP, so whenever you are here you are a VIP for sure, no matter where you are staying,” says Denys Montes de Oca, Executive Director of Sales and marketing at Velas Resorts, adding that employees don’t know where you’re staying and they don’t care. “You are a guest, therefore you are one of our VIPs.”

There are many factors that set this all-inclusive resort apart from others in the area, and the first that’s obvious upon arrival and easily noticed throughout the stay is the space.

Space is the key to a luxury experience

“Anytime you think of luxury, I think space is very important. I think for everyone, luxury means different things. … But for us, luxury is definitely space And you’ll see that even in our rooms, where the smallest is at least 1,000 square feet, and it’s not your typical hotel room,” Montes de Oca explained.

The space has come in handy over the past two years when COVID put people off travelling. Everyone who visited the Grand Velas Riviera Maya felt comfortable and safe knowing there was plenty of room to spread out.

The property has spacious bedrooms, each with its own massive balcony. Nobody needs to feel crowded during meals, and there’s no need to get up early to claim a spot on the beach as there’s more than enough room for all guests to have a good space. their.

According to Montes de Oca, being at 100% occupancy is not the main objective – maintaining the quality level of the products is. Having multiple quiet areas with plenty of space to choose from is a normal site at this property.

“By taking advantage of the spaces we have at the hotel, I think we’ve done a great job of striking a balance between the relaxation that an adults-only property can give you and the family items you need to really have a good time,” she said. “So we always say if the kids are happy, the parents will be happier.”

This, in turn, leads to a higher level of repeat customers. In fact, over 60% of guests who visit Velas Resorts properties are repeat visitors.

Food and drinks, a highlight of every holiday

Another key factor at this resort is fine dining, and guests vacationing at Grand Velas Riviera Maya won’t be short of food and drink options. The property has eight restaurants that take guests on a delicious tour through Mexico, Europe, and Asia, five of which offer fine dining offerings.

Cocina de Autor, led by celebrity chefs Bruno Oteiza and Mikel Alonso, received the AAA Five Diamond Award and was the first all-inclusive restaurant in the world to earn this prestigious accolade.

“I think we have the best chefs in the region. You know, Michelin star chefs, that caliber of chefs that you don’t usually see in a regular all-inclusive,” Montes de Oca said.

In addition to unique dining options at the resort’s restaurants, guests can also enjoy all the room service menu items they could want throughout their stay at no additional cost.

A focus on well-being

For most vacationers, especially those who want to trade reality for complete relaxation, a visit to the spa is a must, and getting pampered while staying at Grand Velas Riviera Maya is also a must. At 90,000 square feet, SE Spa by Grand Velas invites guests to let their cares drift away during their experience.

The spa is the only spa in the Riviera Maya to be rated five stars by Forbes, and it offers guests unique experiences, including themed massages such as the Xkalim Gourd massage and the Sounds from the Soul massage.

Through authentic Mexican spa treatments and hydrotherapy water ritual, guests are taken on a journey to experience a clay room, ice room, polar pool and more to cleanse the mind and the body, restoring inner peace and completely resetting and releasing any tensions the body may be holding.

Customer service goes a long way

In addition to spacious spaces, mouth-watering cuisine and an incredible on-site spa, guests of the Grand Velas Riviera Maya enjoy top-notch customer service.

“Mr. Vela always says that with money you can build the best and most expensive walls, decorations and everything else, but if you don’t have the staff to make it work and who cares about the service , usually you don’t get anything,” Montes de Oca shared. “So what really sets us apart besides the space you have in the room is the service.”

Sifting through Trip Advisor, Montes de Oca points out that many reviews speak of the excellent service provided by the property. Whether it’s the personal concierge helping with a reservation or the waiter in a restaurant, every member of staff goes above and beyond for guest expectations.

The excellent service from the staff creates a welcoming atmosphere and completes the guest experience for visitors who spend time at Grand Velas Riviera Maya.

“I think it’s super exciting because they’ve been doing the commons since COVID that everything is local. I think it shows how strong we women are and how independent we can be to bring things like this to the community. We are not just a store that caters to just one demographic. We make ¾ of our product and we support other local businesses that are also women-owned businesses,” said A&K Clothing owner Amanda Stevens.

Every owner is hopeful for the future of their business.

SARTELL – What started as an idea earlier this year has now turned into a business.

Elite Vitality is a new medical spa that opened in Sartell last month. Owners Hanni Lyon, Sara Montreuil, Taylor Reller and Torri Reller have always had a passion for helping others.

Montreuil says that after each of them burned out in their current health profession, they decided to team up and come up with other ways to improve a person’s health.

We never really thought that we would all be partners like we are. Torri and Tayler had a successful injectable business for about two years, and when Hanni and I started talking with them about our idea, that’s when we came up with the plan for creating a one-stop shop .

Taylor Reller says they wanted to create a space for women that offered a wide variety of health and beauty services.

We offer dermal filler, botox and dermal pen services. Then our partners Sara and Hanni, they do IV wellness like injections and infusions. We also offer laser hair removal and laser skin resurfacing.

Reller says they also plan to add a few new services that will be unique to central Minnesota.

Torri Reller says they are having a grand opening on Saturday to educate the community about the services and products they offer.

We are going to have some of our representatives here to explain the services they provide. We will be here as owners to help and inform people about what we offer. There will also be refreshments and information sessions.

The grand opening will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will include goody bags, special products, refreshments, and a chance for you to ask questions and learn more about their services.

Services are currently performed by appointment only and can be scheduled on line or with their mobile app.

The owners say they also have a few more rooms for rent for other like-minded people who have the same goals in creating a healing environment.

Elite Vitality is located at 2395 Troop Drive Suite 103 in the Pine Cone Square building.
