Cubs exercise 2022 club option on LHP Wade Miley
CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs exercised their 2022 club contract option today on left-handed pitcher Wade Miley, acquired on waivers from Cincinnati on Friday.

Six-foot, two-inch, 220-pound Miley was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first round (43rd overall) of the 2008 freshman draft. The Hammond, Louisiana native attended school Loranger high school in Loranger, Louisiana, and pitched for three seasons at the University of Southeast Louisiana.
