New mixed martial arts and fitness center opens in Littlehampton

Badlandz, led by John Keeley, 52, the Chief Instructor and Director of Operations, offers a wide range of mixed martial arts and fitness classes that would be suitable for everyone.

The center is located in Unit 2 at Minister Court, Courtwick Lane, Wick, and is open from 7:30 am to 10 pm Sunday to Friday and from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday.

The center offers early morning sessions for women only, at lunchtime and for children, as well as sessions for professional and amateur MMA fighters, and more.

John, a former close protection bodyguard and police instructor, said the center was intended for the entire community.

He added, “Our center will increase people’s physical condition, increase their confidence, their breathing and all that you can gain from martial arts.

“It will also be very people-oriented. It will all depend on the staff, coaches and members, and we are committed to providing tailor-made training courses, even to those in injury rehabilitation.

“Badlandz is absolutely for everyone and I will find something to do for everyone who walks through our door.”

John is looking for instructors who are trained in kickboxing, boxing and all things martial arts and fitness. More information about the center on their website.
