GENERAL

Coaching course

West Virginia High School Activities Commission coaching classes will be held at Spring Mills High School.

They will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 8 and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on January 9. The second session is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on February 5 and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on February. 6.

Participants must attend both weekend sessions.

Classes will take place at the library. Parking is in the north lot, next to the stadium.

Interested persons should apply online at WVSSAC.org. Walk-ins are not allowed.

Yoga classes

Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation is currently accepting registrations for yoga.

This course is held year-round and takes place from 9:45 am to 10:45 am on Wednesdays at the Berkeley 2000 Center.

Pre-registration is required. The cost is $ 32 per person per month.

Silver sneakers

Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation is currently accepting entries for silver sneakers for ages 55 and over.

This class is covered by certain insurances.

Classes take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The fee for those whose insurance does not cover the cost is $ 20 per month for two days per week, or $ 30 per month for three days per week.
