The fitness room accepts vaccinated people
ZAMBOANGA’s first fitness center, the Sky Gym at LM Metro Hotel, now accepts people vaccinated as part of its health protocols to protect others and hotel staff from Covid-19.
The Sky Gym, the largest in the city, has maintained its high level of compliance with health protocols imposed by the Interagency Working Group for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases and the Covid-19 Local Working Group since the start of the pandemic. after President Rodrigo Duterte declared a state of health emergency in March 2020.
Hotel staff and employees, including gym staff and coaches, are fully vaccinated, according to manager Alain Cass Luy.
“We strictly and religiously follow IATF and local government guidelines on public health protocols to ensure the safety not only of our customers, but also of our employees,” he told the Manila Times.
He said the Sky Gym is now exclusive to customers vaccinated against Covid-19.
“We place great importance on the safety of our gym goers and staff and Sky Gym maintains the highest health protocols as we always do. We have electric hypochlorous oxidants all over the gym and we regularly sanitize it. “Equipment. We have disinfectants in the gymnasium and soap in the toilets,” Luy said, adding that even the hotel is equipped with oxidants and hypochlorous disinfectants.
Luy said that in accordance with Executive Decree BC 607-2020 of Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, LM Metro Hotel and Sky Gym require guests to use a mask and face shield and the digital contact tracing system – the StaySafe .Ph.
The hotel has also received the security seal from the Ministry of Tourism and has been cited repeatedly by various groups and government agencies for its high standard of hospitality.
